Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us and Mikescfc49. Grief is a very personal experience with no rules or fixed time scales.Here at the Support Line we appreciate that anniversaries and special dates can be emotional triggers, and many people have told us how they can trigger waves of emotion. I just wanted to make you aware that the Support Line is open on Father's Day from 10am until 4pm if you feel you would benefit from a listening ear. Hi Mike,

Sorry for your loss. The loss of my dad was not so sudden but it was relatively short and most certainly unexpected.
