Hello I am Margaret. I have just lost my husband and he had heart failure ,he had a lvad fitted a pump to keep his heart going. On Thursday 20th Sept we had to disconnect this to allow him to pass away. The staff at the hospice were trained to deactivate it my stepdaughter and I were with my husband John and the doctors and Lindsey the sister. It was so had having to say good by and I will miss him so much.

I’m sorry to read that you have lost your husband John so very recently.
Having to say goodbye to someone you love must have been incredibly difficult
for you. It’s understandable that you say you will miss him so much.
