Lung biopsy

My mum is having a lung biopsy on Monday, I have been reading that it could spread the cancer, any help with this please?

There can be a lot if information to process when reading about medical procedures and can appreciate you wanting some help with this. However, here at the community forum we do not have medically trained staff to offer any guidance about this I am afraid.
