Hi Laurie,
I am sorry to read about the recent death of your dad. Grief is a very individual process and there is no right or wrong way to be. Many people talk to us about physical feelings that they experience whilst they are grieving especially in the early stages. We have lots of information which you can read here on our website: https://www.mariecurie.org.uk/help/support/bereaved-family-friends/dealing-grief/grieving-your-way
What support network do you have Laurie? Is there somebody you can talk to about your feelings. Some people prefer to talk to family or friends whilst others benefit from talking to a professional counsellor or a helpline such as ourselves.
If you would like to discuss things with us further please feel free to call our freephone support line on 0800 090 2309 or contact us by web chat.
Best Wishes
Brigette

They have a great lot of staff and care and really great facilitates can say anything bad about hospice but was not familiar with them as it was to short a time and not a lot of communication at the time but wouldn’t say to anyone not to use hospice help just to quick from going in to passing away 😞
