Hello : I have Adrenal cancer and I am struggling to accept diagnosis as I was wrongly diagnosed initially. I am having problems with my husband as he refuses to discuss my illness and is behaving like it isn't happening. How do I deal with this?

Thanks for reaching out to us and the wider community. I am sorry to read about your diagnosis. it can be very normal for people to feel a wide range of emotions upon diagnosis, these can be different for each and every one of us. It can also be a normal reaction for people to go into denial and to not acknowledge the situation in which they find themselves.

         Thank you for your kind and supportive reply.

As I am struggling to accept the diagnosis myself after a long and difficult journey I probably would benefit from talking to someone. I am finding it hard to forgive my GP for failing to believe my symptoms and put it down to anxiety related illness.

I think if I'd have been a man this wouldn't have happened! 

Will make that call soon.Not sure where to start but I'm sure I'll be guided.
