It is great that you are looking for support,  if you could provide us with some more information about what type of support you are specifically looking for we may be able to signpost you. If you would like to discuss this privately please contact us at the Support Line on 0800 090 2309 or via webchat.

    Hi Brigette

I have gone through radium treatment for lung cancer, I also have Emphysema. I am really interested in a support group that can help with my breathing problems, I do take inhalers but struggle with being out of breath ever time I move.

    HI Elaine,

Thanks for getting back to me with more details. You may find some information that will help you in our booklet “Breathing easier”: It may also be worth finding out what day services are available from your local hospice. Our Liverpool Hospice offers many day services which you can find here: If you wanted to be referred to any of them you would need to ask your GP to do that for you.

I have also found the following list of support groups in your area on the Macmillan site:

    I hope this helps.
