Mums terminal

Hi / Mam was told yesterday they are stopping all treatment now other than morphine / this is after a 3 year battle - my brain is in utter turmoil as I try to process this and support my 88 year old Dad as well - how on earth do you stay sane ? I’m off work this week as really struggling - any help or advice would be really appreciated thanks x

I am sorry to read about the news that mum was given yesterday. Even when we know that loved one has a terminal condition being told that treatment is stopping can give us a sense of disbelief and shock. These may be some of the emotions you experience.
