Hi Kaz71, welcome to the Marie Curie community.

We’re sorry to hear that you have just been told the cancer has returned. It’s understandable that you are feeling a mix of emotions right now and that you are feeling lost without the love and support that would have come from your husband.

Being diagnosed with a terminal illness is a huge, life-changing event. You might go through a whole range of emotions. We have some information around how you may feel and ways to cope that you may find helpful here: https://www.mariecurie.org.uk/help/support/diagnosed/practical-emotional-support/coping

We hope that there are family or friends that you can turn to for support. Many people tell us they feel it helps them to talk and we are also here at Marie Curie with a safe space for you to talk about how you are feeling whether on this community or with our Support Line - https://www.mariecurie.org.uk/help/support/marie-curie-support-line

    Take care,

    Support Line Officer - Hannah
