I lost my mum when i was 12 years old. I'm now 21 and i still find it hard without her even though my dad remarried my step-mum who is wonderful and i just wanted to reach out to people who might know what I'm going through. I have attached a photo i took off my mums death certificate the bit showing the cause of death as i don't understand the technical words.

I am sorry to read about the death of your mum. It is perfectly normal
to still miss your mum even though she died 9 years ago. We are not medically trained at the Support
Line so wouldn’t be able to comment on the death certificate. Discussing it
with your GP may help to answer any questions you may have. Did you have any
counselling at the time of your mum’s death? Many people say that talking about
their experience can help them come to terms with it. If this is something you
feel you would benefit you please let us know and we can signpost you towards
support.
