Hello Kenn,
Welcome to our Online Community.
We’re sorry to hear that you have been diagnosed with a terminal illness, and that you don’t know what to do, start or where to turn. We’re pleased that you’ve found our Online Community and hope others here on the community will share their experiences with you too.
It’s natural not to know what to do or where to turn when you’ve been told this information. Everyone responds to the news of a terminal diagnosis in their own way, there’s no right or wrong way to feel or react. We have some information on coping with a terminal diagnosis that you might find helpful to take a look at on our website here: https://www.mariecurie.org.uk/help/support/diagnosed/practical-emotional-support/coping .
Is there anything in particular you feel would be helpful for you at the moment?
We’re here to offer information and emotional support, so please feel free to reach out as often as you need to. We also have Information and Support Nurses available to talk to if you have any medical questions you would like to ask.
Take care,
Marie Curie Online Community Team
