Hello, my name is Bonnie and I am a new member of the Support Line team here at Marie Curie. Before joining the Support Line I worked in another area of the charity. I thoroughly enjoy working for Marie Curie, and look forward to working more directly with the people we support.

One of the things that I am looking forward to the most is helping people become more aware of what support may be available to them, and that is something that we can help with here on the Support Line. Whether that’s providing information on how to access care and support or providing emotional support and a listening ear.

As Christmas is fast approaching, we are aware that this may be an emotional time. It may help to know that over the Christmas period we will be open every day, so if you would like to get in contact with us in the lead up to Christmas, on the day, or anytime thereafter then please feel free to do so. Our opening hours will vary but you can keep an eye on our website for information about this over the coming weeks or you can get in touch for further information.

    We will be open:

Would anyone feel comfortable sharing with myself and others here on the community any tips they have with coping at Christmas?

I look forward to hearing from you.

    Best Wishes,

    Bonnie
