Today marks the start of Befriending Week (1st – 7th November) and this years overarching theme is "Befriending is Support".

Are you looking to make connections, share your experience, learn from other people in similar circumstances? If you answered yes to any of these questions, then this is the space for you.

While our Online Community may not be as active as we would like at the moment, we encourage you to introduce yourself below, and if you feel comfortable share a little bit about your situation. (You never know, the next person reading this thread may decide to share their own experience too and before you know it, the peer-to-peer befriending support has begun).

If you would like to read more about the companion support that we offer, either at home, in hospital or over the phone you can do so here: https://www.mariecurie.org.uk/help/companions .

We look forward to chatting with you.

    Take care for now,

    Bonnie
