Thanks for your email and offers. I’m an old woman now who has been living on hell earth alone for 4 years since I lost my son. My husband, brother, sister in law and cousin have all died over the years. I don’t know why I’ve been spared, death will be freedom for me

I’m sorry to read about the death of your family members, and that the last 4 years have been extremely difficult for you.
It’s completely understandable that you may be feeling this way after the death of people you love. Grief can bring up so many different emotions, and there is no right or wrong way to feel. Please try to be kind yourself. Have you spoken to anyone else about how you’re feeling?
When you say ‘death will be freedom for me’ can you explain to me in a little more detail what you mean by this? I need to ask if you are having any thoughts of harming yourself? If you are, please know you can stay safe by:
• contacting the Samaritans on freephone 116 123, they’re open 24 hours and are there to listen
• contacting your GP for an emergency appointment or the out of hours team
In an emergency, you can:
• go to any hospital A&E department (sometimes known as the emergency department)
• call 999 and ask for an ambulance if you can’t get to A&E
• ask someone else to contact 999 for you or take you to A&E immediately
