Rules around benefits can be confusing. Carer’s premiums/additions can be added to or taken into account for:

• Income Support

• income-based Job-seeker’s Allowance

• Housing Benefit (England, Wales, Scotland) / Housing Benefit (Northern Ireland)

• Council Tax Support

• Pension Credit

• Universal Credit

I would suggest that you seek some advice from a Benefits Specialist at CAB, Turn2US or entitled to.
