Priority Services Register / Customer Care Register

Did you know that anyone with a vulnerability could benefit from support from their gas, electricity or water provider in the event of a supply failure.

By joining the Priority Services Register in England, Scotland and Wales or the Customer Care/medical Care Register in Northern Ireland, your supplier could offer you extra help such as priority support in an emergency, alternative cooking or heating equipment, bottled water and free gas safety checks if you are eligible. You could also get notice of planned power cuts which is vital if you rely on your energy supply for medical reasons.

Also, the Cold Weather Priority Scheme for over 75’s identifies households that use heating oil and those that need extra support during cold weather and heating oil shortages.
