# Loss of my husband

lost my husband to idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis and acute myeloid leukaemia took him from me two weeks ago my heart is broken the hole is so deep after 49 years together I want him back I feel so lost

Hi I’m sorry its so hard at the moment and while I can’t offer any easy answers there is a whole lot of help out there for you with what you’re going through.
You can talk directly to someone on our Support Line on 0800 090 2309 is open Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm about how you’re feeling and things that can help you.
We ran a [Q&A on bereavement](https://community.mariecurie.org.uk/chat/q-a-coping-with-bereavement) on the forum that you might find helpful to read and we have a number of help pages on [coping with grief](https://www.mariecurie.org.uk/help/bereaved-family-friends/dealing-grief) that you can read as well. Also if you search on [Cruse’s In Your Area page](http://www.cruse.org.uk/in-your-area) you should be able to find support groups near you that can help.
